Clear Talents in Recruitment – 6th October 2016

New Features/Enhancements

  1. Changes to the way the vacancy view is displayed

We have made some important changes to the vacancy page to improve usability. The changes are highlighted in the screenshot below. These changes have been made based on observation of the way that typical recruiters and administrators are interacting with the vacancies page.

The area at the top of the page indicated with (1) shows summary information about the vacancy.
Below that as indicated by (2) are three filters that can be used to reduce the number of candidates being displayed. The blue flag indicated with (3) shows that this candidate has adjustments that are required for the current stage that they are in. On the right hand side indicated by (4) are actions that be taken.

  2. New report to show users who have not activated their account

We have created a new report for organisation administrators that enables them to see a list of users who have created an account on their system but have not completed the process by activating their account. To access this report, click on the “Users” link at the top of the screen and then choose the “Inactive users” button at the bottom of the left hand button list.

On the resulting screen, you will need to choose a start and end date before clicking the “generate” button to see the list of users.

  3. Improvement in edit vacancy page

We have changed the way the expiry date and open ended checkbox are displayed to make it clear that these are an either/or option

  4. New account status: suspended

In some situations such as where there is a potential concern that an attempt is being made to “hack” a user’s account, we have created a new account status of “suspended”. If suspicious activity is detected, the account will be suspended preventing the user from logging in. The Clear Talents administration team will be alerted immediately so that they can investigate the behaviour and take appropriate action to rectify the situation.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where archived users appeared in an available list of users when creating division. They are no longer presented in the list
  • Fixed a bug which made it impossible to change a second level division to be a top level division
  • We have fixed a display bug which meant that hierarchical divisions did not display correctly on some pages
