Sign Language Interpreters

Chinese Sign Language (CSL) is often the primary, or first, language for people with a significant hearing loss. CSL has a different grammar structure to spoken language as well as a reduced vocabulary and hence can impact on the reading and writing abilities of some users.

When booking and using an interpreter, it is important to ensure that the person is appropriately qualified and operates at a good standard. Poor interpretation can impact on performance. CSL interpreters will need breaks during long meetings and often two are required to take over from each other.

Here’s more information on  Chinese Sign Language, and you can find interpreter services across many provinces and many cities areas (as well as available via online video calls).
