Magnification Software

A screen magnifier is a type of assistive technology that magnifies the image on the computer screen to make it as large as required for users with a vision impairment to easily access text and images. The magnified area tracks the mouse pointer or text cursor as it moves.

Common magnification software packages include:

  • ZoomText
  • Supernova (combined magnification and screen reader)
  • Windows built-in magnifier (more limited in its functionality and not necessarily as suitable for corporate use)
