Hearing loops

Also known as ‘audio induction loops’, hearing loops are a loop of cable around a designated area (usually a room or building) which generates a magnetic field picked up by a hearing aid. This allows the sound source of interest to be transmitted to the hearing-impaired listener clearly and free of other distracting noise in the environment.

If a hearing loop has been requested, please contact your local facilities team to find out if these facilities are in place. If further guidance is needed, please contact the adjustments team via their shared inbox AdjustmentsTeam@networkrail.co.uk
